The Terrace Times exists to give football supporters honest, well-researched commentary on the game we love. Our editorial choices are made independently of clubs, agents, sponsors and betting companies.
Sourcing
Our reporting draws on official club and league statements, press conference transcripts, verified journalist reporting, publicly available match data providers, and, where relevant, on-the-record interviews conducted by our own contributors; anonymous transfer rumours are labelled as speculation and never presented as confirmed fact.
Review process
Every article passes through at least one editor before publication to check factual claims against primary sources, confirm player and club names, and ensure that opinion pieces are clearly distinguished from news reporting.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, whether a misquoted manager, an incorrect scoreline or an outdated transfer fee, we correct the article as soon as we are made aware and add a visible correction note at the bottom of the piece stating what was changed and when.
Advertising and independence
Paid partnerships, sponsored columns and affiliate promotions are always marked clearly at the top of the relevant article, and no sponsor, club or agency is given editorial control over our match reports, tactical breakdowns or transfer coverage.
